Civil War Days is a nearly 50 year tradition, this marks the opening of the Museum for the 2025 season. We look forward to celebrating with you!

6pm - 7pm Letters From Home Presentation
This Class kicks off the start of the Event and Highlights it theme. Featuring Letters to and from soldiers of the Civil War from the Museum's Archive. John Eiben will be discussing letter writing, history, and the 1850's postal system.
The 4-H will be serving Buscuits and Gravy this Year! As well as, all of the other traditional favorites, Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Juice, Milk, & Coffee
Traditional Tea Reenactment, customs, traditions, and a chance to socialize with the ladies of the reenactment
Amazing food vendors will be on sight both days of the event offering Ice Cream and Slushies, Amazing BBQ, Fair Food Classics, Hot & Iced Coffee and Beverages
Soldiers lead a parade throughout Hopkinton. Starting downtown and crossing Highway 38 to circle through residential and around the Campus.
Come race for a chance to win the Champion's Pie Pan Trophy and cash prize! Admission to the competition is $5
Locally made fruit pies are used in the competition and also available for purchase at the pie auction at 1:45
Come watch the main event. Te Union and Confederacy face of in a reenactment battle. Hear the boom of live canon fire and historical narration of General Grant.
Battle are on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is a victory by the Confederacy and Sunday the Union ends the event victoriously.
Open to the Public
Stone Soup will be prepared over an open fire and Dancing will begin at 6! Traditional dancing of the 1860 will be lead and called much like square dancing, but much of this this dancing happens in a line down the center of the gym. All are welcome to attend! Come watch, learn, and dance!
Historical Church Service featuring artifacts and a presentation based on soldiers of the war, battles, stories, and correspondence presented by decedents of soldiers who also attended Lenox College.
Coco's Coffee Caravan and Locally Made Apple Fritters will be on sale and available for after church and pre-battle. Both will be open at the event all day
Ice Cream and Slushies, Amazing BBQ, Fair Food Classics, Hot & Iced Coffee and Beverages
A scavenger hunt will be set up throughout the buildings. Try to find all the objects to get a prize!
2 large Bounce Houses, Dunk Tank, Face Painting, Rock Painting, Balloon Animals, Fish Pond
